I've always been exclusively a PC/Android guy, but am awaiting my first ipad (mini 5th Gen - for compatibility with diagnostic tools used in my business). I see that MM will sync with these devices, but I'm unclear as to what player is used on the ipad. Is there an apple version of MM for use on the ipad or...?

Can anyone point me to a helpful primer for using an apple device with MM and what's possible with the two?

You can use the default App on the device from Apple. There is no MediaMonkey for iOS (Apple devices).
