MediaMonkey 4 supports a 'Portable' mode, in which the application can be installed

to a USB key or drive without affecting the System within which it's being used.



If MediaMonkey is set for 'Portable' mode, then it cannot be installed to a location

such as the standard .../Program Files directory--it must be installed to a location

that is independent of the host system.



Otherwise, the following error will result:

Cannot create file "C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Portable\MediaMonkey.registry"



To resolve, uninstall MediaMonkey, and either:

a) install it to the same location in non-Portable mode

b) install it to a different location
