Filters and the Auto-sync List in MM3
Solution
The auto-sync list behaves as follows in MediaMonkey 3.0 - 3.2:
o The Filter 'Type' determines which tab the tracks appear under i.e.:
o Type=Music: Appears in the Music tab & filters of Type=Music
can be used to further filter the sync list that appears in the Music tab
o Type=Audiobook: Appears in the Audiobook tab
o Type=Hidden: Appears nowhere in the auto-sync list or anywhere else
in the UI (the filter does, however, affect Shuffle/Bookmarking/Crossfade
characteristics of tracks matching the filter).
o Type=Other: Causes tracks to not appear in the 'Music' tab e.g. Podcasts

o Subscribed podcasts: Appear in the 'Podcast Subscriptions' tab
o When the user activates a filter in the music tab, it doesn't actually
filter out tracks that don't match the filter. Rather, it excludes attributes from
the tree that never match the filter. e.g. if Filter=Rock Music, then
Artist=Brittney Spears might display even though most of her music is Pop.
Selecting Brittney Spears will select ALL of her music.
