How to stop Connections to the Internet
Solution
MediaMonkey connects to the internet for several purposes,
accounting for warnings from your firewall that MediaMonkey
is trying to connect:
o Automatic check for updates. If you do not wish to check for
updates, this can be disabled via Tools | Options | General
o Automatic check for podcast updates. You can change the interval
for this via Tools > Options > Podcasts
o Automatic look up of CD information from FreeDB when a CD
is inserted. If you do not wish automatic lookups to occur,
they can be disabled via Tools | Options | Network
o Manually triggered attempts to connect to the internet:
e.g. browsing web content from within MediaMonkey, accessing
internet radio stations, or using Auto-tag from Amazon (these
functions cannot be disabled).
