How to Upgrade from version 2 to version 3
Solution
MediaMonkey 3.x is the current version of MediaMonkey. If you are still using
version 2.x, you can just install the new version to your machine to upgrade.
MediaMonkey 3.x will automatically import your library and most settings from
MediaMonkey 2.x (Note that MediaMonkey 3.x is not compatible with many
MediaMonkey 2.x scripts. Prior to upgrading, it is advisable to delete or disable them).

If the upgrade fails to locate your MediaMonkey 2.x database, you can manually
upgrade as follows:
1) Go to the command prompt, and switch to C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey
2) Type dbupgrade.exe oldmm2.mdb newmm3.db where oldmm2.mdb is the location
of the old database and newmm3 is the location of the new database. See:

If you already own a MediaMonkey Gold license:
Lifetime License holders automatically get MediaMonkey 3.0 Gold functions (there's no need
for a new license).
2.x License holders will lose access to Gold functionality on the new product. If you
currently own a 2.x license:
o Users who've purchased MediaMonkey 2.x in 2007 are eligible for a free upgrade
to MediaMonkey 3.x Gold. Just submit a support request for your upgrade, and include
your original purchase order number.
o Other 2.x Gold License holders can use the following coupon code until
October 2008 to get a 25% discount on the purchase of a 3.x or Lifetime license upgrade:
