Media Monkey fails to update tags for .wma files

Media Monkey uses windows components to update the tags of .wma files. [For a detailed explaination]
Although these can be downloaded and updated manually they are included with Windows Media Player installation.
The easiest way to correct the problem is by making sure that Windows Media Player is the latest version with all updates and/or reinstall Windows Media Player.
The original Windows Media Player version 9 with XP SP2 fails to update tags.
