Now Media Monkey ( V. 2.5.5.something Gold) can not find it's files on K: at startup, gives us a series of "can not find or create this or that director or file" error messages and closes.
We tried reinstalling the program but the installation process ends in similar error messages. Also tried the steps for a clean reinstall with the same results. Is there some file pointing to the old drive name that we need to edit or delete?
Alternatively go to: Control Panel-> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Disk Management
Select the L drive, and then Right Click -> Change Drive Letter and Paths, and set it back to P. If you can't it means you have added drives (like a media card reader) and you'll have to do some juggling to get your drive letters in the order you want.
