Hmm OK.
Well I have just gone through and converted several hundred CD's to FLAC.
I still have about 15 I will need to do, as they are not in the database so I will have to enter all those song titles etc manually.
Of the ones I've done I have around 10 CD's where some or most of the songs won't read/convert due to a failure in error correction.
I've tried the 'polish the scratches out with toothpaste method on a couple at random but to no avail.
Any suggestions? I don't have another CD drive and cant justify spending $70 to buy one just for these few CDs. And there's no guarantee it would work anyway.
I have ERROR RECOVERY QUALITY set to HIGH (should I change this?)
Any other settings you need to know to assist me diagnose the problems?
