Hi,
Note that on some devices you need to unlock phone and tap to select USB Connection Mode.

Make sure, on the device, that the connection type is set to MTP. Also try a reboot of the device.

I am thinking this is more of a windows issue than MM issue. While it shows in my windows file structure there is nothing but placeholder.
Cannot open it in windows - Identified as Pixel 3XL but nothing else.
If this thread stays open and I discover anything of interest I discover.

OK looked in tools options - see my last phone Galaxy 8 - but the new phone does not show at all.

Does Windows show the device? If so, make sure it isn't disabled under Tools > Options > Portable Device Sync in MediaMonkey.

I am having syncing my new phone with mediamonkey on my PC
Have MediaMonkey Pro installed on my phone and
Running 4.1.24 Gold on my desktop.
My phone connected with a usb-c to a usb port on the desktop.
The phone does not show up in mediamonkey file structure on my PC
