You can actually use our software Intelliremote for controlling MediaMonkey with your Bluetooth headset.

http://melloware.com/products/intelliremote/

it will allow you to map your Bluetooth signals from the headset as HID signals to control Play Pause etc from MediaMonkey. We have PDF Instructions you will simply need to have your PC recognize your bluetooth headset and it should work in Intelliremote. I have helped others get this working including the Jabra BT8010 Bluetooth Headset!

Let me know if you have any problems and I am more than happy to help you get it working.

you will need a script wrote for connecting monkey to bluetooth? i dont ever remember anyone asking for that so you might be the first one.

could be a while maybe they will add that in to the next version of monkey.?
most i know turn off bluetooth as it is so easy to get hacked but using it.

seen a show a few years back somebody built a power boosted antenna to receive and send bluetooth code.

they picked up a unit over a mile away. so i turn off all bluetooth stuff in my systems. :-?

Scripting output device

by urbandive » Wed Oct 21, 2009 1:43 am

Hi,

I was wondering how to build a script that would cycle through the different possible audio output devices.
I use MediaMonkey's DirectSound output plugin, and it works well at recognizing the different devices I may have connected, mostly line out or headphones but accessorily bluetooth headset. I was thinking it would be cool to have a shortcut that would cycle through these to get the sound where I want it.

I do some programming but have never built MM scripts before...

Thanks !

Manuel
