Is there a way to have this script take into account the total number of tracks in a directory/disc? Specifically, I want my tags to be this:

DISC TRACK ALBUM

01/02 01/12 Some Album Name that's Actually Composed of Several Disks
01/02 02/12 Some Album Name that's Actually Composed of Several Disks
...
01/02 12/12 Some Album Name that's Actually Composed of Several Disks
02/02 01/15 Some Album Name that's Actually Composed of Several Disks
...
02/02 15/15 Some Album Name that's Actually Composed of Several Disks

Thanks!!

I am wanting to do the following

the ones highlighted i am wanting to add double 00's to so it would be 001, 002, 003, 004 etc etc then the 101,102, 103, etc etc i manually do the second disc by restarting the counter from 101 which i am fine with but is there a way i can add two 00's to the lower than 100th track?

when it gets to 10 though i want it to be 010 not 0010

Any help appreciated
Damo

Hi Beg,

Yes, this script could be altered to do what you want but I think that Zvezdans regexp script already can what you are describing out of the box. So I would try that first!

Hi Bex,

thx for this script. I wanted to ask if you could help me with adapting it to any/a differnent field?

I'd need to write incremental id numbers to a list of ~50000 tracks, but to a different field as track nr. (most likely I will use "orignal lyricist" for this)

I think that your script could do this with a change for the field in which to write the numbering?!

thx,
Bernhard

The disc# updates the disc# field! :)
If you want 201 for CD 2, track 1. Simply start the counter at 201.

Correction. It does work. I thought that assigning the disc# would add the disc# to the track number, i.e. 201 for CD 2, track 1. Apparently not.

Same issue here. When executing the script, the status bar shows up but the track properties do not change.

I can't reproduce. It works great for me! Anyone else?

On the latest beta of MM (RC1) it'll act like it's putting the leading zeros and all and even shows the status bar that MM puts up, but it only goes though the motions. The tracks do not get fixed.
