Web Lookup Panel:
  • Option Settings - Are there any configurable settings for this? If so, under what Tools > Options heading?
  • View Zoom - The zoom setting is way too high for most sites when displaying them in a panel. The user should be able to modify the Zoom setting, which the panel be able to remember. Ideally, it should support the 'Ctrl-Mouse wheel' standard.
  • Support Left, Right, and Enter keys - Those keys are currently being filtered while in Web Lookup Panel, so it completely ignores those keys. Makes it really difficult to enter or modify Urls on Google, for example.
  • URL/Nav textbox - Would be nice to have a textbox for entering the url.
  • Open in new window - Would prefer new window over docked panel, especially when using multiple monitors. Naturally, the window should not be modal.

To clarify: If you install "RightClickForWeb With Tagging" on a Windows 7, 64-bit machine, you may see blank "Web Lookup" menus when right-clicking on your files in MM. You can resolve this issue by doing the following:
  • 1) Go to the "<user>\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto" folder, where <user> is your current user account folder (which is usually a subfolder in "C:\Users").

    2) Rename the "RightClickForWeb.ini.NEW" file (if it exists) as "RightClickForWeb.ini"

    3) Copy the ""RightClickForWeb.ini" file.

    4) Paste the copied file into the "\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto" folder.
Now, your "Web Lookup" menus should have lots and lots of options. No more blank menus!

RightClickForWeb NoT Working Correctly

by cldcp00 » Fri Oct 19, 2012 11:06 am

I have installed RightClickForWeb and it does not appear to be working correctly. When I right Web Lookup (Selection) and Web Lookup (Now Playing) appear but they do not have and menus they are blank. If I click on the icon it does bring up the Google Search web page.

Also the play selection does not appear to be working.

I looked for the .ini file which appears to have entries in it but it looks like it is not picking them up and the file extension is .NEW

Any help would be appreciated

You can try MusicIP to tag multiple files at once. Its the only one I know of. All the others work for an album search at a time. I heard Windows Media Player can tag files automatically anyone know how?

Oh that's a shame. No point asking for any other features either then :D

Hi there, I see this was requested a few years ago - any chance a feature to tag multiple tracks at once? Cheers.

Was definitely a MMPortable issue. Fixed in latest release 1393.

I have just had exactly the same problem with Lyrics and Comment Viewer. So it looks like it's probably a MM4 Portable problem.

Hi there, This runs with no problem in MM4 but I have issues with it in MM4Portable. It installs and everything runs fine until MM is closed. When MM is next opened there is a blank square in the top left corner:

Image

MM and RightClickForWeb still work except for not being able to access what's under the blank square. The next problem is when I close MM. The MM window closes but I receive this error:

But the MM icon is still in the taskbar. MM is still running and can only be closed via Task Manager. RightClicForWeb can be uninstalled and the problem still exists.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Yes. 1) Edit with Notepad the following file: C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto\RightClickForWeb.ini
2) Restart MediaMonkey.
Thanks a lot Eyal, I'll do it. Btw, I use your fantastic Helium skin (with some changes).

Hi everybody. I've been using Rightclickforweb for a long time. It's a great script. Lately I realised that some links are not working or out of date (LiricsPlugin for instance and others). Is there a way to update all links? It would be great also if there could be the possibility to group the links in a customized manner or remove some. Thanks in advance.
