Yep, would be an awesome feature, definitely!!! :D

For now, MediaMonkey remote is definitely a good alternative.

Remote for MMW in MMA please.
I just bought MMA pro imagining that would be part of it. :(

I just downloaded this app, and the media server, and setup was a snap.

I am very happy with the app until MM officially releases their own. :)

We hear you, loud and clear.

But this is lower on our priority list than a range of playback and management features. i.e. we probably won't get to it in the next couple of releases :-(

Me too!! I have both MMW and MMA - really don't want to have an additional server. Would be cool if this would come built-in from the MM guys.

I vote for this feature as well.

I'd love an In-App remote feature to controll MMW from MMA instead of using a second app too.
Thanks for considering!

No argument here. But, in the absence of an officially sanctioned MMW remote control, MediaMonkey Remote works pretty good. I have not used it extensively, so I cannot comment on stability over time.

I use that app indeed. But, as it's been pointed out, it needs a visual enhancement and some feature additions. It would be nice to have an official controller from the MM guys out there, with more support than the current existing alternatives and no need of an additional server to be installed on the PC.

Agreed. That's a great little app. It's a little... unrefined visually, and I do find that every once in a while I need to stop and restart the server it uses on my Windows 8 box. A rare and minor annoyance though.

Try MediaMonkey Remote on the Play store. It does exactly what you are looking for (controls MMW from Android).

We haven't decided on adding such a feature yet--our focus in the short term is going to be to gradually bring MMA's management capabilities closer to that of MMW, but if this is an often-requested feature, we'll certainly consider it.

MediaMonkey for Android as PC version remote controller

Hi!

I've been using MediaMonkey for PC for a few days now and I find it absolutely awesome! It has absolutely everything I was looking for to manage my media collection and play all my music. As the Android geek I am, I quickly tried to find a good remote controller app to be able control MM from whatever room of my apartment I am in. The alternatives that exist right now are either very feature-lacking or really bad-looking.

That is why I ask, are you planning to integrate a remote controller for the PC version in your Android app? That would be absolutely great.

Thanks for your hard work!
