Hi,
nonob wrote: Tue Jun 19, 2018 9:11 am Can i do the same process to refresh missing artworks on my Moto G4 or do i need to delete all my tracks and sync again ?
I did : it worked on my Moto G4 too :)

I tried the same process to my others devices with "sync failed" message : all is resolved :)

thanks a lot

Ok.

Yes, the song IDs are different so it wants to delete the "old" and copy the "new". If that's too time consuming for you then another solution could be force the "pairing" process that appears on clean MMA install (when songs are pre-existing on the device and MMA is firstly installed).
You would need to:
1) uninstall MMA
2) Delete [phone memory]/MediaMonkey/mmstore.db
3) Install MMA and let the music scan into MMA library
4) Sync with MMW to pair the songs.
It worked ! Sync has deleted about 500 tracks but it is less than all (5000). Thanks a lot :)

Can i do the same process to refresh missing artworks on my Moto G4 or do i need to delete all my tracks and sync again ?

You can access all the files (9300) by going to the [Entire Library > Location > HD:DONNEES > All]
Done :) Sorry, i didn't well saw the "3e".

My "Entire library" node was hidden (by me, a long time ago...), so i unhide it and i saw my 2 location and for one of them : all greyed tracks. I deleted all. Thanks :)

Since i dowloaded the Mediamonkey.exe you sent me, i have a "Dunit" windows displayed. I think it is a developement tool ? Can i remove it ? :

I found something interesting, surely the cause of my issue. I have several "collections", my main is "Ma musique" and when i browse it, i haven't any greyed tracks anywhere; if i browse maroon 5 : all tracks are good.

So if i search "Maroon" on this collection, i found good tracks...

But ! i searched again on "Full library" and greyed tracks appaired ! :
This is because your "Ma musique" collection is defined by rule "Path\filename" contains "D:\..." and this is valid only for the "new" (good) tracks now, details below.

nonob wrote: Mon Jun 18, 2018 12:43 pm
It seems that bad tracks have the path starting by "[DONNEES]" (my partition name) instead of "D:\" for good tracks.

I checked "dead links" on all my collections : nothing is displayed. I can only view ghost files by searching on "full library" i said before. How can i display all of them for batch delete. Should o ? Do you know what happened ?

I had (maybe on april 2018) a strange thing about my MMW library setting, after having sync issue, i checked my watched folders and on the right, they was listed, but on the left, they wasn't checked ! I rechecked them on the left :

Sometimes my PC is powered off by "weather" perturbation or other electrical problems, when it reboot, MMW settings are sometimes corrupted and i restore them from backup (installation folder).

I don't know, this is my addons list :

I've fixed the issue as https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=14879 , i.e. so that artwork for the accessible copies is served via UPnP/Wi-Fi.
I've fixed it for the next build (4.1.21.1871), if you don't want to wait for the build you can test the fix directly by replacing your current MediaMonkey.exe from (1869) by this one: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fin3jdd6idyzn ... y.exe?dl=0

Hi, thanks for the MM.DB.

It might by caused by Trixmoto's AlbumArtTagger script, the script seems adding a dummy artwork entries with empty cover path:
see https://www.dropbox.com/s/loehtsx3z50io ... 0.png?dl=0

I've entered the issue as https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=14879 and will fix it for the next realease.

EDIT: I've just found that the coverStorage is 0 (file tag) so that's all right that the coverPath is empty.
The cover is supposed to be in the file tag.

Could you please check whether the cover is presented in the file tag of file:
:\MUSIQUE\Ma musique\Pop Rock\Maroon 5\1.22.03.Acoustic (2004)\01. This Love.mp3
or send me the file for analyzing? It seems that the cover is either not presented in the file tag or cannot be read by MM.

Thx.

Ok.

EDIT: Maybe even better than debug log would be your database (C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey\MM.DB ), could you zip it and share the link to it via PM?
Done.

I just checked again the temp folder, there are only 4 artwork and one "NoImg0.jpg" :

I updated MMW to 18.69, deleted Marron 5 album folder, checked physical folder; it is no present then synced wifi : no artworks :(

Thanks

Hi, thanks for the link.

I have downloaded the "Maroon 5" folder and everything synced fine here (artwork shown as expected in MMA and Anrdoid's Total Commander).
Nevertheless I've tested with 4.1.21.1869 while you were testing with 1867.

Some further questions:
1) if you browse the "Maroon 5" via UPnP node, do you see the artwork correctly?
If not, go to C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Temp\ and try to delete or clear MM_UPNP_Images folder, does it help?

2) If you try to delete the "Maroon 5" in MMA (including the folder) and sync again (using MMW 4.1.21.1869), are the tracks and artwork loaded correctly?

Hi,
martin.bohac wrote: Fri Jun 15, 2018 4:01 am To clarify MMA don't use own Tag parser (It's planned to future version). So if you include some folder to library, then Android media scanner is used.
Android media scanner extract artworks to "Android/data/com.android.providers.media/" folder. I think it works well, I guess that old artwork for Album view was cached, so this is the reason why it appears correctly only in other views.
If you use Wifi sync, then artworks are downloaded to "Android/data/com.ventismedia.android.mediamonkey" or to the folder where is track located (depends on MMW settings). It looks like MMW default artwork. I will ask MMW guy.
Thanks for your explanations :)
Ludek wrote: Fri Jun 15, 2018 4:26 am Hi, which MMW version do you use?
4.1.21.1867
Ludek wrote: Fri Jun 15, 2018 4:26 amCould you look at the file in MMW and see whether the artwork is shown correctly in MMW?
Yes, all artworks are displayed for all my audio files.
Ludek wrote: Fri Jun 15, 2018 4:26 amIs the artwork stored in file tag or file folder in MMW?
Both for all my tracks : my main storage is tag tracks then i extract it to folder.jpg for each album with Album art tagger addon (near tracks in folder album).
Ludek wrote: Fri Jun 15, 2018 4:26 amIs it in PNG format? We have updated PNG library recently so there could be some issues.
No it is jpg. I tried to "save to" image from tag : it result a jpg file. The file in album folder is also a jpeg file.
Ludek wrote: Fri Jun 15, 2018 4:26 amIt would be valuable if you could zip the album folder (PC location in MMW) and upload it somewhere (Box, DropBox, FileDropper, ...) for me to test , replicate and possible fix the issue?
Done. I sent you the link by private message.

This album is just an exemple of most of my albums having the same issue : i think i have about half of my entire collection not displaying artwork in MMA (about 500 albums...).

Thanks.
