so that the same problem is not being solved in several threads at once.

Yes, this change was already in 2419 : https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=18064
so that's strange that it still fails for you.

The newest build is 2422 -- so please generate log from 2422 (+ accompanying MMA log id)

Sorry for the delay. I've been out of country. I'm on .2420. It also failed. Was this change integrated into 2420? I'll be back in 11 days and can try it again at that point.

Could you please replace your current MediaMonkeyEngine.exe from build 2418 by this one:

Actually seeing that it is a recent regression in 5.0.1.2406 , to be fixed as : https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=18064
I'll post a new MediaMonkeyEngine.exe later today to test and confirm the fix.

Still cannot sync on 2 different Android versions. Still getting "Waiting for file to convert..." in MMA. File is not very big.

Also, on a cell phone, MMA fails to sync a 2 hour 320kpbs mp3. Debug log = LTLWJXG66N

It got a little farther this time but it still died. MMA Debug Log = NEXYHLGTE9

Error = "Waiting for file to convert (55/7662)"
MMA latest. MM 5.0.1.2407. MM5 is not converting anything... it's not using the CPU the way it normally does when converting file format.
