ad 2) as a workaround you can pin that playlist (right-click on it and choose Pin command) and you'll see your playlist at Home view or under Pinned node in media tree ... this way you can pin almost every object (artist, album, track, genre, folder etc.).

I have two suggestions for the Toolbars of MediaMonkey.

1. When creating a toolbar, enable an option to display the button's function in text next to the button. (Sometimes, the buttons are small, and the icons' meaning may not be readily apparent.)

2. Enable us to create toolbar buttons to show particular, frequently-used playlists. For example, I created an auto-playlist for "New Podcasts": it'd be nice to see it by hitting a button, rather than scrolling down my list of playlists.
