See my screenshot above, the three vertical dots next to the 'ALBI (1)' and there is '- Disable' option for each device item

You can disable it like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6fpbmjcv9kg5e ... 5.png?dl=0
one by one.

i.e.
1) go to Devices & Services and click 'Show all'
2) Select the particular profile and click the hamburger menu
3) Select 'Disable'
=> the profile gets Disabled and will appear at the end of the list no longer bothering you by a configuration or scanning ;-)

No, not from within MediaMonkey. You can remove d_WMDM.dll from the plugins folder where Mediamonkey is installed, but it will break Sync to other devices that use it and will be reinstalled each time you update MediaMonkey.

Deletion is also just one by one, and they'll return when reinserted.

Every time I start MMW5, I get an option to configure a specific external device, e.g. phone, EHD, card, stick, etc (not always the same one)

It seems that Devices and Services has retained a list of all external devices that it detected on my PC

Is there anyway to clear the list or will I have to delete each entry manually?

Is there any way to stop Devices and Services accumulating external device detections?
