Thanks, did all that and sent it to Jiri!

When running as Admin it "syncs" my music to my C:\Program Files\Mediamonkey :o

This rapidly drained my already tiny free space on C:

Zip the database and use a service like http://www.megaupload.com/ and send the link to the file to Jiri

My MM.DB file is over 200 megs -- hard to email that! But I'll send along the screen shots

Could you please e-mail me screenshots of all the configuration pages of your device? Alternatively, mailing your MM.DB database file would probably be even better.

Thanks,
Jiri

You are correct, it seems to even write to a file somewhere making it think that it had transferred them all to the root directory. I'll get a log of that too tomorrow.

Running as Admin made MM "think" it was working, but after the sync, nothing was on the phone. I've tried this with two different Android phones (both Google Nexus S running 2.3.4).

Haven't had time to figure out the Bug report process, may try later today or tomorrow

I was able to reproduce this with my android phone.

Log is here: http://pastebin.com/rmCihajX

Running MM as administrator allowed the sync to work however.

Could you please e-mail me a debug log? Btw, what exact device do you have? Also, I suppose that if you look into Options\Portable devices, then you'll see that the device is handled by d_WMDM.dll plug-in, right?

Thanks,
Jiri

1378 Android Phone Synchronization Failure [#7976]

by zealofsoul » Tue May 31, 2011 11:00 pm

My Android phone device synchronized perfectly before I upgraded to MM4.

Now synchronization partially works. Partially I mean as the program recognizes the device, so reading the files all work. However whenever I hit Right Click - Send To - Synchronize, a small bar on the bottom shows it is working, but then an error message pops out.
Error

There was a problem synchronizing the following item(s):

Problem while copying file K:\Music\Neon Trees\ 6 Girls and Boys In School.mp3 to 06 Girls and Boys In School.mp3
I thought it was weird that the path for the destination is wrong. So I thought it was the Destination Option in the device profile.

However regardless of whatever setting I pick on the "Sync Music Files To:" section, it never works.

Funny thing is if I do Send To - Copy To - K:\Music, then it copies the file!!!

Also I use my ipad2 and ipod nano to sync files on MM, and those two perfectly work.

Any help on solving this problem??
