I can't access the mini layer anymore. The button on the upper left corner disappeared.
And please invert the pause play icon in the miniplayer. It's confusing because the whole world uses it the other way around.

In the mini player of the design G-Monkey_PS 1.2 the play and pause button is inverted. So it displays play while it is playing and pause while it is paused. Please invert.

Skins are double compressed to get to background image:
1. use 7Zip/WinRAR/... to extract Skin Archive .MSZ (Suggest that you extract it into separate folder eg. "Skins\My G-Monkey\")
2. after you extract .MSZ in MMW you should have new skin selection "My G-Monkey" you can use
3. in extracted folder you should clearly have background image for that skin that you can edit and replace with your own

Second way to do that is to change backgrounds for MMW overall by going to Tools -> options -> Skins and add your background images.

Third way is to use http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.php/ThemeEditor on extracted .MSKN and change font colors for thing you need.

I have only a small problem with viewing the Downloads section of MediaMonkey. Here's a screenshot:



Do you know how to change colors of the lines (dark and white) to make them more readable? I have never skin MediaMonkey before (because your work is already perfect) but I would gladly understand how to do it!

very beautiful skin - from the dark skins it is the very best so far

there is just one thing i wanted to change:

i use fullscreenplayer all the time

1. Status Bar Text: - bigger fontsize (20) - alignment to the right

2. time font in Player Bar (left and right): bigger fontsize 20 - black background and white font color
(how much time a song is playing and how much time is left)

i read everything available how to edit skins - wiki - forums - but my alterations did not work, i failed ... i used theme7 as editor

can someone help me out, what to do?

Sorry about this but I'm new to MM. I can't find a way to get the player maximized again from the mini. I have right clicked all over the place. "Restore" just brought back the play bar and the only work around I could come up with was to change the skin in options. Any ideas? I am sure that I am missing something. So, please just point me in the right direction. Thanks!

It can be done. Quatx uses a smaller footprint for its task bar player, 30 pixels in height instead of the 45 pixels used by G-Monkey.

Can this theme please be updated to add support for small icon windows toolbars?

well this is just a skin based on a mockup (without stop button) by Aethereal

but is it not enough to right click pause button ? (there is a stop and stop after current button)
you could also made a customize stop toolbar button,
or enable play controls from the nowplaying window ,
and place it near the play controls !

I also want to chime in in agreement about the "now playing" item's noticeability. I have to ask: is there a black scheme for Windows 7 I can get which matches this skin (G-Monkey_PS)? I used to skin my XP machine back in 2006 with skins from deviant.

I absolutely love this skin, but I absolutely must have a stop button. And if you have a toggle for the playlist, why not one for the "art & details"?

Caveat this: I never have commented before, and this being the first time, I must reiterate that I find of the best skins I've seen (a total of 4) only 1 had the much needed stop button.

That would be in the lower left hand corner alongside the back - play/pause - next buttons. Just put it in the lower left corner, IYAM (if you ask me).

And don't forget the toggle button for the (redundant) now playing window (aka Art & Details).

These two additions would make your skin the primo, number-one, most popular skin there could be.

At least, so far as my experience limits me.

The best skin out there!! Easy on the eyes and very user-friendly. Nice Job.

If I could tweak one little thing, however, it would highlighting the current song playing in the main music list or any playlist. As of now, the current song is displayed in not-so-boldy Bold lettering, but its hard to see it in a large list on a large screen.

Great skin but is not compatible with small icons in taskbar, the taskbar player is too taller. Someone have any variation that allow me to use small icons?

For some reason this skin allows the player to be dragged to the top, but then reverts to bottom on a restart
- any ideas how i can make the player bar stick to the top?
