syncing with ipod classic needs database rebuild constantly

I'm using MM 3.2.5.1306 and an ipod classic (win7.) After the initial sync, when I connect the ipod MM wants to delete all my tunes. I then rebuild the database and things are fine, until the next time I sync; where it again wants to delete all my songs...

Any ideas would be appreciated.
