Actually, this is not true, as most people run Windows Home Server 2011 "headless", without being logged in. Many server admins will tell you it's a security risk to leave WHS2011 running with the admin logged in, and that's why most people running such a server are interested in apps which can be run as a service (Playon, Serviio with the Serviio for Windows Home Server add-in, iHomeServer, etc). Personally, I will not be able to consider purchasing MediaMonkey Gold until it can run as a service, so here's one more vote for MediaMonkey Wishlist item #0007240.
