Re: error: the media "unknown" is not inserted. It must be inserted to access the file

As said not that long at all, and without odd characters (though my PC is set up to accept Asian characters)

Re: error: the media "unknown" is not inserted. It must be inserted to access the file

I thank you all for taking the time to help me. The fact that it played in MM and other players and based on the error message itself one could deduce that the problem is not with the file itself. I moved the files from their subfolder to their main folder and all worked fine. The folder and subfold...

error: the media "unknown" is not inserted. It must be inserted to access the file

I tried to analyze the volume of certain tracks and I got this message (see images below): the media "unknown" is not inserted. It must be inserted to access the file..... When clicking OK (or Cancel) another message popped up telling me "Mediamonkey cannot decode this format". MM has no problem in ...

Re: media monkey: access violation at address 00E7537

So any tips? Oddly enough the problem is not as re-occurring as it was before. now it;s just once in a while which I find odd. How can a problem only exist sometimes?

Thanks again Peke but no such files exist anywhere there--including its sub directories
(I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing)

Re: media monkey: access violation at address 00E7537

I installed the portable version and it did not duplicate the problem by repeating my actions however, by then quickly deleting 2 files in succession the message did pop up. And then going quickl up and down did not pop up any further messages. Getting a strange feeling about it all, as in I felt if...

Re: media monkey: access violation at address 00E7537

Thanks for your help peke. By installing a clean portable version you are saying to uninstall the current normal version first, correct? Assuming so, what would be the following steps if it does replicate and if it doesn't replicate?

Re: MM trigger happy--mouse too sensitive

roving cowboy thanks for your advice. You may be right for some users but I did write, "It has existed for many MM (and Windows)updates. It has existed even though I have since the initial notice of it, reinstalled windows 3X. It exists and has existed with 3 different mice." The last sentence '3 mi...

Re: RegExp Find & Replace 4.3 w/ 253 presets (2011-07-06) [M

The presets that are in use via Edit > Tag Manipulation Presets are stored in ..\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey\MediaMonkey.ini under the heading [RegExpPresets] . So just keep a back up copy of MediaMonkey.ini (or keep a separate text copy of your presets) and then you can copy and paste the [RegExpP...

Re: RegExp Find & Replace 4.3 w/ 253 presets (2011-07-06) [M

Is there a way to back this up? I'm moving country and won't be taking my PC with me--hence will need to reinstall my MM once I get a new one. I love this plugin--what a godsend :-) Seeing that about 2/3 of the commands I don't use I deleted them, and I modified a few of the others. I would hate to ...

Yes, I'm aware of the 3 PCs license, but I'd rather delete it here so there is always the ''3d'' one left ''somewhere'' waiting :-)

Re: How do I know on how many PCs I've registered my MM gold

Lowlander, thank you. OK then it's simple enough. Uninstall it in my present one and then reinstall in the new one and it all equals out. Cool I plan on hoping finding the time to do more than just uninstall but reformat my drive completely and then reinstall windows before I leave so there definite...
