Re: [1361] Portable Mode Installer

Installed 1361 in new directory: MediaMonkey starts before being prompted to launch from setup window. Setup window stays open in the background with option to launch MediaMonkey ticked. Over 585 registry entries are created , due to file associations, and re-associate enabled by default. The same t...

Re: [1359] MediaMonkey Portable Installation

Deleted all entries a second time after making changes to MediaMonkey.ini, these are the entries still created: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\MediaMonkey HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-3864586459-2309324526-4260958269-1006\Software\MediaMonkey HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\.mm7np\OpenWithProgids (M...

Re: [1359] MediaMonkey Portable Installation

1359: MediaMonkey Portable Installation

Installation issues: 1) MediaMonkey started before installer quit. ("before" the launch MediaMonkey window.) 2) File Associations are still enabled by default causing the program to register all file formats selected. 3) Re-associate file associations is still enabled by default. 4) Because these as...

[1357] Portable Mode Installer

Very nice job fixing the installer. No more files installed in %USERPROFILE% There are however two registry entries created. (which is not bad compared to the 500 or so entries created when the desktop install completes. Here are the two entries: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{D597C98C-4...

Re: Auto - Organize Artists Under Letter [A] or .....

Using <Artists:1> could cause a problem with regards to Various Artists (which is Album Artists right?)

Will it create the folder [A], then place the Album Artists in this folder? Then the Album Artists, Albums?

Re: [1353] MM4 Portable Mode

Also, is there a chance the Media Codecs Pack be portable and/or self contained?
Can the MediaMonkeyPortable be programed to find VlcPortable?

Re: [1353] MM4 Portable Mode

This thing is installing all over the place. If it's portable it should not be using the \User\Application Data\MediaMonkey and \User\Local Settings\Application Data\MediaMonkey directories. 1) Creates start menu folder in "All Users." (only way to stop it is too delete it after it's created) 2) Cre...
