Re: Remove links to missing artwork?

It's complicated. The first pass it found 160 files that MM had found itself. This is a small fraction of the total. I shut down and rebooted and tried again, this time it went through the 69K files but MM exited at the end. (While trying to confirm perhaps?) I tried again and got 160 again. Shut do...

Re: Remove links to missing artwork?

Yeah. I rescanned a directory I know to be broken and it gave me 0 found, 0 updated. The broken links were unchanged.

Re: Remove links to missing artwork?

That is a seriously cool set of tools! Thanks for pointing me in that direction. Unfortunately, it still doesn't help. I was unclear in my description of the problem. MediaMonkey doesn't recognize the artwork as broken. (My fault, I thought I had moved everything to tags and just deleted the images....

Remove links to missing artwork?

Is there a way to remove all links to missing (link to a .jpg that no longer exists on the file system) artwork in the application? I'd like to remove all of those so I can use the report to find artwork that's missing. If it can't be done through MM can the MP3 files be externally altered so a resc...

Re: Lost Device Configuration

You nailed it. The StorageInfo.xml was changed. (I was trying to clear all of the old files I had loaded by hand so I deleted everything.) Fortunately, I was able to recover it and everything is matching up for the moment.

Thanks for your help! I greatly appreciate it.

Re: Lost Device Configuration

Nope. It's not android based. It goes strictly off the file system. You have to manually rebuild the library on the device after you change/add/delete any files.

Re: Lost Device Configuration

I'm using Media Monkey Windows v4.1.24.1883. I'm not using MMA in this scenario. (Although that might be a nightmare way to do it by swapping SD cards around.) The Cayin just mounts as a USB drive and it should be copying files directly to the SD card. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Lost Device Configuration

This thing it does with creating unneeded new profiles is... irritating. Is there a way to copy the configuration from the old profile to the new one? Or fix it so the old one works?

There's a lot of work in picking files that I'd hate to lose.

Re: Files Skipped during Add/Rescan

I figured out the problem in the end. The full path was apparently too long for MM so I had to move the files way up the tree before importing. That makes sense but it would be nice if there were some indication in the log as to WHY a given file was skipped.

Thanks all

Files Skipped during Add/Rescan

Hi all, I've been using MediaMonkey for a few years now and I've run into something odd. When I attempted to import a tree full of classical (flac) files and it imports most but still skips a bunch of files. The log shows that files were skipped (it says they do not meet the import criteria) and lis...
