Re: Customizing MediaMonkey Layout?

Interesting, Lowlander, I'm looking in the Options for this and cannot locate. I see the 'Hide Menu Bar' in Party Mode, but not General-ly elsewhere... as I mentioned it is not a problem for me since I know how to make it display but could you point me to where the setting is? Thanks thanks thanks. ...

Re: Customizing MediaMonkey Layout?

Aha! I did not realize, the new tabs layout conceals the file menu... if I click to the left of the displayed tab, the menu appears. Very space-economical, but not wholly intuitive (to me at least)

All is well now, many thanks for the quick reply.

Related: Sudden Layout Issues

Greetings, I've been using MM off and on for many (!) years and in the past two months (not as active as once was) noticed that the app's menu bar has disappeared. Also, last time I used the app I used the mini-player - now I have no player in main space when I open the app, and no mini-player, eith...

Re: Not enough storage is available to process this command

"...getting multiple "Not enough storage is available to process this" errors while listening ..." Deltas: 1) MP3 files 2) no image issues (so far) I just upgraded to 4.03.1476.... 124,551 files There's plenty of storage, and there appears to be ample system memory available too...

Re: Compilation album dilemma

Hi Sem, It's cool when I listen to suggestions, like 'search before posting a new item.' Tonite, I found your post, and it's close to one I would have written! I think for a moment about your question. How do I keep these items straight in my head, if I have to rely on the idv3 tags. I can remember ...

Question(s) about 3.0.1256

I am a longtime Mediamonkey user and fan - five years now?! I have a few questions about the last release: - My FLAC conversions while quick have not been always successful, and I can't find my FLAC checker/fixer - The Track Properties windows no longer have descriptive strings , although the field ...

Re: Multimedia Keys on HP Keyboard

MMKeys does provide shortcuts, but how to integrate them with keyboard control panel list? We're getting there, now I have controls in my Program list but still not on keyboard keys.

THANK you though. Sooner or later I'll get there!

Re: Try this

Maybe this will help- http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=50 Um.... no, because HP doesn't use the .xml file mentioned. I really like the new MM, but it's a real drag not being able to use the keyboard controls. I know, wah  wah, bu...

Using Media Monkey inside M$ Media Center

Hi, I have around 50,000 songs in my library and looking at the directory takes.... a long time.... when I use the Microsoft Media Center device in our family room. Media Monkey is very zippy with this size database though.

So follows the question, could MM be 'plugged in' to MC somehow?

Multiple Updates upsetting the heap?

Hi. I am updating a lot of metadata on my MP3 library and after thirty or so updates, I get the 'out of resources' message. This is consistent with new and old content. I am guessing there's a marshalling (at least that is what we call memory cleanup) issue somewhere, but do not know where. Any sugg...

Kontiki - Inquiry

Does anyone know apps that use Kontiki? It has appeared on several of my home devs that are now acting shall we say less than perfectly. You can generally tell when kontiki is around; there's a process that is unkillable called 'KDX' on the list of applications running. THANKS IN ADVANCE! I just wan...

Ya know, that's just what I was going to say. Every so often, while I am updating a bunch of tags, I get this error. What up with that?

If ya know, share....thx.
