Re: 3D Flow Album View [successor to MonkeyFlow for MM5] Beta Testing

Great; that was an easy decision! Actually, I'll put a poll on the main post to see if anyone else has a differing opinion. By the way, another important thing: I want to make sure this view performs well even on large databases. If you experience any stuttering or low performance, aside from when t...

Re: 3D Flow Album View [successor to MonkeyFlow for MM5] Beta Testing

Version 0.2.1 is now ready! Changes since 0.2.0: The tracklist now appears at the correct height, and it animates up smoothly. The camera now moves and the albums space farther apart when the view is super wide, so the illusion is never broken that the carousel appears "infinite." Fixed the carousel...

Re: Error IUNICODE

Interestingly enough, when I search for your exact error, one of the first results is related to MediaMonkey: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/47095400/exporting-a-sqlite3-table-from-a-db-with-error-no-such-collation-sequence-iun I don't personally know much about the database, but maybe this Sta...

Also, if you know your way around files and what not, it's pretty easy to change colors yourself. If you take a look at this thread, you'll see how to do it: viewtopic.php?p=486525#p486525

At least there you find general media control buttons.
I see; does it work properly for MediaMonkey 5?

Re: Specify fixed case words for Case Checker addon

As it's a relatively simple but useful addition to allow custom capitalization, I've added and tracked it here: https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=18292

Re: Editing Skins

BTW, if you ever want to share your changes with other people, in case you think others with the same problem can benefit from the same solution, you can publish it as an addon. When MediaMonkey loads its LESS/CSS, it first loads it from the skins and then it loads from addons. This means that if yo...

Re: Customizing Sample Skin (Black Monkey) for Dark Mode

It's actually simpler than you might think! If you take a look at skin_base.less (in MediaMonkey 5/skin), you'll find the following: @textColor: contrast(@baseColor, black, white); If you override @textColor, you can override the base text color for all elements. Here's what I got by overriding just...

Re: MediaMonkey 5.0.2.2500 Alpha - Installation / Initial Experience

The file is quite large. Let me know if the database file is also needed as I have a copy from before (16:56) and after (18:02). Pro tip: Text files and database files both compress very efficiently. Putting them in a .zip, or even better, a .7z, will make the files much smaller and easier to send.

Re: Adding a lyric source

Yep, exactly what TIV73 said. The _add keyword is interpreted by the native MediaMonkey engine, and it adds all LyricsSearch_add.js files to LyricsSearch.js before the Chromium engine loads it.

Glad that you got it in the end (Many thanks to TIV73 for helping out while I was away!)
