MM Auto scan multiple drives

MM is doing something that it's never done before. I set my default location for music a long, long time ago and I've always had an external drive connected to my pc. However, it's never scanned and tried to add from that location. How can I stop this? Right now, the only way I could stop it was to ...

Re: Anyone still using an MP3 player?

Yeah, I still have my Cowon S9 32GB and it's going strong. The only thing I have always hated about it is that Cowon can't get the playlist thing right. They make good products but they can't get a handle on playlists. Regardless, my player sounds amazing and videos look amazing. I never wanted my m...

Re: Default Display

Thanks but that didn't work. I did just figure out out though. I had to right-click on the center tab and choose to display the tracks. Now MM is starting to look like it used to. Thanks again.

Default Display

A few versions back my Media Monkey got screwed up and my display is all wacky, I can see the list of albums but no information appears on the center panel and I have to click on the photo of the album to play an album now. I don't even see a list of album songs. Is there a way to reset Media Monkey...

Change Defaults

This current version has caused a bit of frustration for me and I'm hoping someone here can help. First, I do not want Media Monkey to be the defaults for everything. However, it appears that Media Monkey had decided what it will be the default for and some of those boxes it will not let me uncheck....

Re: MP3 Player recommendation

Go to my favourite website for non-ipod mp3 players and reviews.

http://www.anythingbutipod.com

Click on the forums after you check out the main page. It was because of anythingbutipod that I chose my cowon and zune players and my mum now has a sony walkman.

Re: MediaMonkey Reviews

Well I guess I'm here to say what the rest of you are scared to say. The latest version of MM sucks. I dislike it so much that it's forced me to rethink my media software preferences. It's unresponsive, too dependent on flash, freezes up regularly and has trouble downloading my podcasts. I really ho...

Re: Ubuntu.... mediamonkey.... meant to be..?

Contact MM Support and inform them of their faux pas. I think a lot of people have been confused by their message. They should issue you an immediate credit. I received a message that I needed to pay for an upgrade even though I have a Gold Premium license. I thought with that license future upgrade...

Re: Ubuntu.... mediamonkey.... meant to be..?

You don't need to pay more if you have a Lifetime license. MediaMonkey 4 is a free upgrade for lifetime license holders. Hmm, I checked my old email purchase and it says I have a gold lifetime license. That said, why am I getting an upgrade coupon from MM? I'll try to upgrade but if it doesn't work...

Re: Ubuntu.... mediamonkey.... meant to be..?

Noo, I got a message telling me that I had a gold licence but in order to upgrade to version 4 I'd have to pay. Check your email. You most certainly do have to pay. Media Monkey's getting greedy.

Re: Ubuntu.... mediamonkey.... meant to be..?

I see MM just came out with a new version. How ironic that I purchased a Gold license, which is a lifetime license and now MM is asking for more money and telling me that in order to be current I must purchase a V4 license to keep my gold license active. Well MM, I'm not upgrading until you release ...

Re: MediaMonkey going cross-platform

Well, I for one, am hereby casting my vote for a cross platform version that works with ubuntu/linux. I just recently added ubuntu 10 to my pc and it took me a few days to get everything configured but I'm now a happy camper. Well, almost happy. The only thing that would have me doing the snoopy dan...

Re: Error Report: Problem Querying the Database

Thanks friend, but your solution would never work. I had already tried that. The thing that finally worked for me was when I added the /nosplash to my shortcut. The problem was a question that was being asked behind the shortcut that I couldn't get to. Anyway, thank you for suggesting an answer.
