Sony Ericsson C902 phone
The secret to synchronizing with a Sony Ericsson C902 phone, is to connect the phone to the PC in "Mass storage mode" . If you connect it in "Phone mode" or "Media transfer mode" , you can only synchronize to the built-in phone memory, which is only about 200 MB. But if you connect the phone in "Ma...

Re: Rating Stars Turn Off
Okaaay..... So - MediaMonkey still has room for improvement. It should definitely be possible to turn off this "feature". Or it should be possible to configure it as a right-click feature. I've allready moved the stars out of the way, of course. But they still catch my eye - and my mouse. Thanks fo...

Rating Stars Turn Off
How do I turn off onMouseOver editing of rating values? My problem is that I often inadvertently change the rating of my songs, because I happen to click on the rating stars column - when what I actually wanted, was just to play the song. I'm very unhappy about that. But I do want to see the rating...

Re: Updates to Freedb
Yes - of course!
You mean you can't do that with MM?
Embarasing.
I'm going to build a track list manually right now (if I can figure out how to).
And of course I expect to upload it for the next person who wants to rip that CD to use.
Are you sure this can't be donewith MM?

Cortina - a Musical Curtain Between Sets
I often DJ a tango " milonga " (argentine tango ball). It is customary for tango dancers to dance three or four tangos with the same partner - and then say "thank you for the dance" - which means "goodbye". To facilitate this the DJ often plays a " tanda " (set) of three or four similar tangoes and...

Maybe one day the gap between songs will be a configurable number of seconds from -30 to +30. The negative numbers are of course cross-over - with or without fade.

Same Script - New Name - New Method
Same Script - New Method - New Name I am using Player.Stop now, instead of Player.Pause , because I have discovered that Player.Stop does not cut off a little bit of the prior song and play it after the gap, the way Player.Pause does. This is good! I also found out how to turn off the progress indi...

Stop doesn't cutoff like Pause does
Stop doesn't cut off like Pause does Now that MM 3.0.2 is out, I have compared the Stop After function with the Pause After function. And it turns out that Stop After does not cut off the last few seconds of the playing song like Pause After does! Bearing in mind that the two functions ( SDB.Player...

Which version works?
Which version works? As Teknojnky and RedX have pointed out, there is a bug in the current MM3 release (3.0.1.1127) so that the Stop After function doesn't work, even though the Pause After function does. We're awaiting v.3.0.2 for that one. But the SysTray feature works just fine on v.3.0.1.1127. ...

Turns out the answers are allready in the wiki! See Tips & Tricks - Event mechanisms.
But I had used a script that did not use the new event mechanism as a basis for my PauseBefore script - which now does.

New version using new event mechanism
New version using new event mechanism I was inspired by the original script of this topic to create my own PauseBefore script . But in doing so I ran into several problems with events, that I was finally able to solve with help from other topics and the wiki. So - to help other new scripters stay o...

Yes - that clarifies things!

And it helped me quite a bit with my PauseBefore script.
I guess, since the MM wiki is a wiki, we could all do our part to keep it up-to-date. I'll add my newfound knowledge soonest - even if I am a newbie.
