Re: USB freezing during long sync. Power setting the cause?

It completed after around the fifth attempt. This time I made sure there was some small user activity on the PC so it doesn't "sleep" or try to shut anything down by running some sort of power-saving routine. That seems to have worked. My iPhone 5/iOS 7 has a circular icon in the notifications area ...

USB freezing during long sync. Power setting the cause?

I have enabled the "Auto Conversion" option during sync to down-convert my mostly 320kbps MP3s to 192kbps MP3s. It's the first time I'm using this option. The USB sync freezes at some point, but the down-conversion background process still seems to be running from the high processor load indicated i...

Re: Any ways to improve MM speed?

VPSaxMan, check if your motherboard supports RAID. (It probably does. Nearly all motherboards do these days.) If you can create RAID drives with your existing hardware, then instead of adding an expensive SSD as a second drive, you should consider adding two more hard drives (identical to one of the...

Re: 1269 & 1270 Start-up Scan

Hi Ludek, I added a few new tracks to my collection today. With your recommendation to check that option, I still was unable to get MediaMonkey to auto-create a playlist called "Auto-Added 2009-10-06" in the "Recently Added Tracks" playlist like what would normally happen with previous versions. I r...

1269 & 1270 Start-up Scan

Hi there. I have my MediaMonkey configured to monitor and Start-up Scan the Music folder on my Vista system. Both build 1269 and 1270 doesn't seem to be adding new tracks that have been moved to my Music folder while MediaMonkey was not running. Also, an "Auto-Added YYYY-MM-DD" folder hasn't been au...

Re: Loud pop problem with WAV but not Flac tracks

Technical Service says the problem has been identified and will be resolved in the next build (1300). Unfortunately, WAV files that are already corrupted must be manually edited to remove the POP. Here's the link to the trouble ticket:

Re: Loud pop problem with WAV but not Flac tracks

I haven't gotten a response yet on my trouble ticket, but it's only been a few days anyway. Probably a lot of effort right now is being put to getting Media Monkey to sync with the iPhone 3.0 OS, so I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a while....

Re: Loud pop problem with WAV but not Flac tracks

I have submitted a trouble ticket with Support because I too have this problem. It appears to be a WAV tagging issue, whereby the tags added by Media Monkey get interpreted as audio data. I have provided Support with two WAV files. The first file is an original WAV recording made from a vinyl LP usi...

Re: Triple Sort - How do I?

Geez!! So simple ...yet unintuitive in my opinion. Is this nifty trick documented in the user manual? I don't think it is. I've been searching for hours for this answer, until I finally found the right keywords.....
