So you're saying that these 'Best of' albums aren't actually official albums with Track #'s but rather that you're labelling them as 'Best' for your own management purposes and that's why there are not track #'s assigned?

Auto-tag, by default, has 'Allow compilations' disabled (in which case it will try to find the earliest instance of an album containing a track). hmm.... I'm unable to replicate this either. Does the crash occur as soon as you insert the CD and MM launches?

OR does it occur subsequent to launch when the Rip CD dialog appears OR when the metadata for the CD is looked up?

Hi Edgar, Thanks for the feedback. I'm able to replicate this, but it was a one-time issue. i.e. I was able to resize the Rip CD dialog so that on subsequent launches it displayed correctly.
