I think the poster means that the tracks will just skip one after another? This has been reported a few times here.

Hmm. Are you sure you're selecting the correct folders that your music is in? I'm pretty sure you can right-click on a song in iTunes and see what folder that song is in. Also, when you go to File > Add, do you have the correct file types checked under "add file types"? Another thing - maybe you jus...

If you just want to move your songs (and not data, like playcount, etc) from iTunes to MM, just open MM and click File > Add/Rescan Tracks to the Library. Select the folders where your music is located, probably in My Documents > My Music, and press OK.

I love the browser function in MM3, but I don't want to install MM3 on my main computer until it at least reaches beta. So I decided to use LibraryPanes for MM2 right now, and after I got the auto-reply solution (very clever technique!), it's working perfectly. I think MM3 should even implement LP's...

I totally agree. Right now, though, I'm just happy a browser was implemented. Go MM!

Will there be any way to edit tracks in the sqlite database? One thing I loved about Access was that I could edit properties that you couldn't do right in MM.

edit: Nevermind, I found an sqlite database editor. :)

Maybe I am missing something in your question, but can't you just click and drag the songs in whatever order you want?

I'm not really sure, but I would give it a shot.

Maybe you guys are trying to sync .wma files? iPods don't play them.

May sound really simple and obvious but have you tried right-clicking on the files and clicking "remove from library"?

Go to Tools > Options > Portable/Audio Devices. You should see a list of devices. Highlight your iPod and click "Configure" on the right. Go to the last tab, "Device Configuration." Under the compability settings, are "Force iTunes-style folders" and "Trim path and/or filename length to 31" checked?...

A huge reason why I love MM is that it's fast and not a resource hog. Another is because it easily allows practically total control over tagging, file management, etc., which I'm OCD about. lol I tried using iTunes for a bit and I just felt so restricted (not to mention my computer was slowing down).
