There should be not a big problem except maybe on top reinstall MM demands are small and its registry footprint minimal.

I would rather be sure that I have Complete HDD backup rather than MM only.

In case of any other issues like gray tracks it should be easily fixable by yourself.

This is by design so that in multi user environments (I have 6 users access same MM DB on PC) it is not possible that one user delete source tracks for all other users, Library tracks management is only possible on Server (MMW)

Each user/device on Sync profile are just clients not servers.
