But it's Album - Album that is not working correctly for albums that have a few track with different artists. I have checked and I have the same album name and same album artist for the albums in question but for the tracks with an additional artist get their album volume set wrong.

Re: Edit Disable/Enable
And why is switching to party mode not practical? This is basically what party mode was created for. If you want a simple on/off switch for party mode, you can use the hotkey or enable a button on the toolbar for it. What makes it unusable for me is the gyrations the gui goes through when switching...

Analyze Volume Uses Artist vs Album Artist
When I analyze volume of an album where one track say has a featured artist with that additional artist added to the artist tag, but not the album artist tag, that track will get a different album volume. Shouldn't the determination of what tracks are on an album be done with the just the album name...

Edit Disable/Enable
I would like to see the addition of an Edit Enable/Disable button to the GUI. When browsing sometimes an entry inadvertently get into edit mode and when I use the scroll wheel the value changes and I have to be sure to escape out to prevent the data from changing. I know I can prevent edits in party...

Multiple Auto-Organize Files Settings
I would like to see a way to save and recall different auto-organize file settings. I use different ones for single albums/multi-disk albums/various artists albums/etc. I currently have to save the format strings in a txt file and grab the one I want. It would be nice to have a managable list or eve...

Cover_2 Rename Issue
I have MM4 set up to add a cover artwork file to both the album folder and the tag and name the file cover.jpg. When I add a artwork file which is called cover.jpg that already exists in the album folder, MM4 creates a copy called cover_2.jpg in that same folder. MM3 did not do that which I liked an...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes device plugin (d_itunes.dll)
Hi Mark, Quick question, whenever I launch MM it launches iTunes. Would it be possible to only launch iTunes if the iTunes box is checked in the Tools>Options>Portable/Audio Devices? Since I'm using this only to occasionally sync my library, having iTunes launch every time is a pain. My alternative ...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes device plugin (d_itunes.dll)
OK, I want to get feedback on benchmarking this version to get an idea of what is possible and acceptable. How long does it take to add 100 tracks into iTunes? <snip> Regards Mark I tried this and it took 20 seconds for a 100 songs. Additionally I emptied iTunes and started a sync of my complete li...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes device plugin (d_itunes.dll)
Hello everyone, Just wanted to post an update to my deleted files problem. I now understand exactly what happened and why I was confused. The plugin creates an iTunes<MM> entry in the explorer tree in MM. After I have sync'ed my library to iTunes, iTunes now shows the sync'ed tracks and now the iTun...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes device plugin (d_itunes.dll)
First off a big thanks to you guys for the work on this general problem of exporting MM to iTunes. iTunes is, IMHO, unusable on a windows machine with a large library. I run a program called ooTunes to stream my library of MP3s and FLACs to my iPhone with transcoding to the required lower over-the-a...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes device plugin (d_itunes.dll)
Hello everyone, Ok, I just some how permanently deleted 50 albums from my library :( :( :( . I not sure what happened but I wrongly assumed that if I didn't touch anything in the library portion of the tree I wouldn't be able to delete files. I'm going to try and find out what happened in case it's ...

Re: Artist / Album Artist Editing
Lowlander, that explains it but it really doesn't make sense. What would make sense if the track and album artists are the same and you edit the album artists then I see updating the track artist making sense, not the other way around. After all if the album and track artist are the same the correct...

Artist / Album Artist Editing
There is a behavior with MM that I don't understand. When I edit the Artist those changes are automatically propagated to the Album Artist. For example I have an album with a track that has an additional artist. I select the properties of that track and edit the Artist and the changes are replicated...

Server and iPhone Client
I'm looking for a way to stream my library to my iPhone similar to ooTunes ( http://ootunes.com/ ). ooTunes ties into the iTunes library so it's incapable of streaming formats unsupported by iTunes (FLAC/APE). Minimum requirements: 1. iPhone client for read only access of MM library/playlists. 2. MM...
