Re: Restore Database

No, as shown in the screenshot you should see a drop-down for Location. This you click to select the correct drive on your PC.

Select the problem drive in Music > Location node, Media Properties, set to correct drive as Location.

Re: Restore Database

Did you do this for the drive that wasn't working in Location (no drive letter)? You need to fix the 'broken' drive.

Re: recent issues with the "Artwork:lookup" function/link in MM5 ? [#20666]

There is no update for this for the latest 2024 beta build, only an update for 5.0 stable (and there won't be one for 5.1 beta).

Re: Restore Database

Did you click the Location drop down on the Media Properties dialog? You should be able to select your drive there.

Which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey and are you using Folder Monitoring or did you use Locate Moved/Missing Files after the files were moved?

Re: Restore Database

Did you use re-assign drive first, and do the files work now? You can't scan before that's the case.

Re: Restore Database

Yes, what part do you not get? Go to Music > Location, right click drive, and use Media Properties from the Context Menu.

As restore backup failed, we recommended trying manually above.

Re: Restore Database

If the correct backup has been placed, you just start MediaMonkey.

If files fail to play and have no drive letter, you need to re-assign drive.

Re: Restore Database

How large is the mm5.db. As you don't see files, presumably it's small and can be replaced with the backup copy.

Re: Restore Database

You could try copying the database file (mm5.db) from the backup to the database location.
