Re: Syncing Track Info from iPhone to MMW

MediaMonkey does not replicate deletions on files. This is deemed to risky as this can lead to accidental file loss.

Re: MMA will not start, requires permission

Yes, Android restricts App access, thus permissions need to be granted. MediaMonkey does need folder access to access the media files. Screenshots may help explain better what exactly you see.

What device, version of Android and version of MediaMonkey for Android are you using?

Re: Album volume analysis requires all files in the same folder

Which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey and where exactly are you browsing in the Media Tree when this occurs? Is it in Folders ? It very much sounds like you don't have all the files on the Album selected. If that's the case, then Album Volume won't be calculated. It requires all files on the Alb...

Re: Files are Swapped in Database

Re: Syncing Track Info from iPhone to MMW

There is no compatible tag for Favorite and Suggest Less in MediaMonkey. Skipped # does exist. Not sure if this is supported for iOS on the latest MediaMonkey 2024 beta though.

Re: Source of "Comment" info in Album view

It's a lookup from Wikipedia and is a database only field. Comment in Properties is Track based, not Album based.

Re: Files are Swapped in Database

That is likely the culprit. Locate Moved/Missing Files attempts to match files, but may make incorrect matches. You need to confirm the matches before applying the changes in the Locate Moved/Missing Files to prevent this problem from happening. If you didn't tag the affected files in anyway in Medi...

Re: Files are Swapped in Database

Did you use Locate Moved/Missing Files? Could the swapping have occurred on MediaMonkey 4?

Re: Load Playlist

1. You can use Home to navigate to Playlists, not needing the Media Tree. You can enable Tree (Playlists) in the Filelisting once in Playlists to get a Media Tree for quick navigation, while having the main Media Tree still disabled. 2. This may require MediaMonkey 5.1 or newer, but it's an option o...

Does this same occur right after a PC restart?
