Re: [REQ] Option to disable online accesses [#20489]
There is also another way to make that work eg. to unplug internet cable from your ISP router when you do not want to have internet, while your LAN/WLAN work normally. You're not serious, are you? Peke's profile says that his location is "Earth" I do wonder. Some of his posts here make me...

Re: Feeling dumb about autotagging
Thanks for the reply, I think you misunderstood. I know I could manually tag the tracks. My question is why the auto-tag feature is not detecting the correct album entry from musicbrainz, and since I know the album entry, if there's a way to simply auto-coerce all the tags to that musicbrainz entry...

Re: Multi-disc CD collections not separating by disc number
I don't think that LowLander read your whole question. You are saying that the whole multi-disc set is listed as being part of the same single "album" successfully, but won't group itself into the individual discs? Where do you see this? The "List (by album)" doesn't display the ...

Re: Feeling dumb about autotagging
When I try to auto-tag in MM5, only 3 of the 8 tracks are recognized as from this album. The other 5 tracks, I can't get to pull from this album. I think that the first thing to check is whether MM sees that all 8 tracks do belonging to the album. eg. Put MM5 into "Grid (by album)" View m...

Re: Sorting albums in numberr order
Regarding the Date field. I'm using this format 17/11/2003 for Now 56 22/07/2003 for Now 55 Just to add I'm using the UK format of Date. What is the "for Now xx" suffix that you are appending to the date? It looks MM is not recognising your "dates" as being calendar dates. ... b...

Re: Still Getting White Screen Freezes 2024.0.0.3003
Out of curiosity, does my MMW5 license allow me to install MMW4? If that plays music without crashing, I will install and run it. They have confirmed here that a MM5 licence also pertains to MM4. So you are licenced to run it. Maybe their MM4 installer is not smart enough to recognise that? I sugge...

Re: 64bit MM (for Windows)
Are there plans for, or some thinking on a 64bit MM? This may have been discussed or answered in another board/thread. Though I didn't find anything with search/advanced search. Search using 64*bit According to their (co)Owner there is a plan to migrate. Where they do respond respectfully on this i...

Re: Media streaming to SONOS
Hi James, it is good that you found a workaround for your problem. PM me, because I may not notice your new post, if you ever want to get back to getting Sonos to play MM generated playlists. I'm going to use Plex as the music server as I no longer need to worry about filtering by rating as it's all...

Re: Is there a wrapper script for database interaction?
Did you make sure to get the 32 bit version of DB Browser for Sqlite? See the last paragraph in my previous post. I originally installed the 64 bit version, and it would not load the MM dll file, which is stuck back using 32 bit technology. I don't remember the error message, but that would be the 1...

Re: MediaMonkey deleted every MP3 file from my DropBox
Dropbox has a 30 day trash bin.
It may not cover files deleted programmatically, but it is worth checking.
You get access to it by signing into your account at Dropbox.com

Re: Export a .txt file
I really doubt he mean that as its usefulness is questionable. OK, we wait for clarification from OP. I was assuming that aim was to generate a text file alongside each movie, for use outside of MM. In which case your response would cause much confusion. I didn't notice that the post was in the Dev...

Re: Export a .txt file
Are you referring to NFO file containing All metadata? Peke, that seems a random response, almost assured to generate confusion. I read the query as: The OP has started tagging his collection Has movie synopsis stored in the MM Comment tag for video media Is asking whether MM5 has option or addon w...

Re: Track Info shows as "Album - Track Title"
I don't have that new release yet, but that summary line can be configured in the earlier versions. See the Track Summary format option at Tools>Options>Player>PlaybackRules There is a separate setting for each music type; ie. "music" vs "classical music" vs "audiobooks"...

Re: Is there a wrapper script for database interaction?
I want to execute 360 lines of SQL that look like this: UPDATE songs SET Custom1 = '009' WHERE albumartist = 'Coldplay' AND album = 'Viva la Vida'; I have this program that did not work: You can do this easily. You just have to do it outside of MM5. You should be able to do it easily inside MM5, bu...

Re: "Make" search case sensitive
You can't, because search isn't case sensitive. I don't think that this is correct. I believe MM5 search has the option to be case sensitive. Steps: Tools>Options>Library>Search .. set Search Mode to "IgnoreDiacritics/matchBeginning" Open Global Search (magnifying glass icon) type the fol...
