Re: MM5 always on top

You are probably getting frustrated by now, because you are just getting single questions, which offer no support. Is this a known issue? I searched the forum with no success. The reason is because it is not a known issue. I have never experienced this issue. And I don't remember any earlier report ...

Re: Left panel contents

You can get close to this in the left panel if you use the hamburger menu at the top of the left panel, and toggle on Show All Sub-nodes .. #1: you can then drill down to Genre for expandable lists i am not finding that showing or not showing sub-nodes makes any difference in what is displayed. In ...

Re: View By Genre

You can enable Show all sub-nodes: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHelp:Library/5.0#Settings to get the same as in MediaMonkey 4. I may be wrong, but I don't think that answers the question being asked. In MM4 you could change the View using the View menu. This has changed in MM5. Look for the ...

Re: [BUG]: Database reorganization resets filters in playlists [#15798]

Problem still exists with RC-8, I just tested the identical sequence (same options) again with 5.0.1.2427 RC-8: ALL filters that referred to a selected album or genre are empty after the reorg. I restored a backup, all fine. I could replicate the problem with the previous release, but not with 2427...

Grid (Categories) View offered appropriately [#18171]

The Genre sub-node has a (unique?) View named Grid (Categories). It can escape from the Genre sub-node, after which it becomes available in every sub-node. I looks slightly different to the normal Grid views (smaller thumbs), but works OK. But it is confusing because next time you open open MM5 it w...

Re: Left panel contents

or, is there a way to show only genres, and then album artists in expandable list for each genre? You can get close to this in the left panel if you use the hamburger menu at the top of the left panel, and toggle on Show All Sub-nodes .. #1: you can then drill down to Genre for expandable lists #2:...

Re: Extended Tags?

I think that rather than 'half done' one could say that it's designed for a more limited usecase (for users that work with specific other apps, and just have a need to see the data from those apps). Some users may have hundreds of different extended tags (depending on what other apps they're using)...

Re: Code Monkey - A dark skin inspired by Visual Studio

Are you still seeing that somewhere? Should have been fixed in version 1.0.55 of the addon. Is all good. Sorry my error. I looked in this thread, and did the the MM5 Find Updates procedure a few times. I (falsely) assumed that the procedure applied updates, rather than just found them. Skin is perf...

Re: Code Monkey - A dark skin inspired by Visual Studio

There is one thing that is definitely wrong ; Context Filters. I filtered the above display by the "brothers" ... the filter criteria is invisible ... it affects all displays. Yeah, that field is hard to read. I'll have a look at it, thanks for noticing! This is still my favourite MM5 skin but a la...

Re: Multiple tabs and close button

I don't know if it is "normal", but I can replicate your issue if I create more than 12 tabs. The tabs get so small, that they squeeze out the x boxes. But I would hesitate to call it a bug, because the Chrome Browser does exactly the same thing. But then the Chrome key is more elegant in this situa...

Re: Highlighting Titles is chaotic LHT mouse/Ctrl

When working in window listing of Titles trying to select a group of titles to highlight, utilizing the left mouse button and control The Highlight seems to jump up and down to select groups of tasks and not the ones attempting to be selected. It would appear to select a batch of 10-20 titles from ...

I think that Extended Tags are a half done job in MM5 atm. You can make them, but you can't use them in MM5, and can't locate them for auditing. More information here.

Re: Information about current operations.

If you can reproduce the empty progress popup, please capture it in a debug log (step 4b) and attach it to a Support Ticket: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=86643 Is probably empty because there is nothing to show on the status bar. I used to see this often when loading new t...

Re: Information about current operations.

This message refers to large and time-consuming operations, such as adding files to the entire database, or compressing the database by tens of thousands of titles. After the file additions indication at the bottom disappears, there is no more information about what is going on. As for the little s...
