Re: UPNP server for MediaMonkey (v0.2)

Hi there, let me get you out of this mess. First, what helps me a lot is to put MediaMonkey OUTSIDE "Program Files". That makes it possible for MM to run without administrator privileges and install scripts correctly. I've followed some tips from the MM guys (wiki's ticket), creating C:\Users\All U...

Well, any script, but since I've gave up on finding a general solution (I've sent reports, tickets, posts, but I've never got a solution), I'm just trying to find how to install THIS script manually.

Re: UPNP server for MediaMonkey (v0.2)

Actually thats a solved issue and has been documented extensively, see the MediaMonkey support page. You have to start MM as administrator to install .mmip files. As I've written, I'm running MM as administrator, but the installation keeps showing a nice error window where I can send a useless erro...

Re: UPNP server for MediaMonkey (v0.2)

How to install it on Vista (also a manual procedure would be ok).
I'm running MM as administrator, but there is no chance to install mmip files (this is an old unsolved issue).

Thanks

Refreshing device automatically or manually

In the earlier versions of MM 3, if I'm not wrong, each time I plug a new devices, MM were able to see it automatically. Now I have to close and reopen it: is that normal?

Is not possible to add a feature that, at least, manually detect all the plugged devices?

Tolls -> Options -> Player -> Auto-DJ -> Select Last.fm DJ -> Configure
Hello Peke,

that's the problem. I don't see this panel:

Both scripts are in scripts/auto folder.

@sciamannikoo You can always manually Install Plugin. rename mmip to zip, .dll put in Plugins folder, .vbs put in Scripts\Auto folder and restart MM. Thanks Peke, this way works, but I should set my shortcut to start as Administrator with the (on this case) annoying UAC dialog (I don't want to disa...

Global settings (see all users)

There are few how-to to help people sharing files and database with multiple users on the same machine. I think that is time to add this feature on the installation wizard or, better, on MM3 itself. Why is not available a so simple feature? there are different priorities? I think this feature should...

iPhoneBrowser

Actually a solution is already available and need just to be implemented from MM developers. this solution is called "iPhoneBrowser" and can be found here: DLL: http://code.google.com/p/manzana/ GUI: http://code.google.com/p/iphonebrowser/ I've used the GUI and seems to be working fine. From this po...

Ok, thank you.

I hoped is some tool using the same feature that MM3 is already using, checking files without considering tags: just analizing the audio. That would help a lot.

Thanks again.

Hello Lowlander. Thank you for you answer. However I think that due to some language barriers (I'm not a native English speaker) there was some misunderstanding. 1. My backup is just a copy of the files, nothing made with a software 2. My backup contains a lot of mp3 I already have in my library, bu...

Import not duplicated tracks

Hi there. I didn't know where to put this post, as is somehow related to MM. But, just in case, I will post it here. I've about 45Gb of an old backup of my music, stored in an external hard-disk. Most of this music is already in my real database, but some other songs were lost and are still on this ...
