The MAIN problem as I see it is that I can't rezise the player ... (and) NAVIGATION TREE and the amount of space it requires. I agree a couple of changes would really make the layout much improved over any other solution Ive found: 1 - Yes ... the player could use a. Resizability and b. Shade mode ...

Agreed, part of the value of MM is being able to work with your audio and manage it quickly - this should include burning Its way too tedious and the extra time is totally unnessessary imo, if other programs can just burn things right to the disk so can MM .... currently its annoying to have to work...
