it didnt. But it does now.
sadly, didnt seem to improve matters. It's odd, cause i get the windows popup giving me a choice of what i want to do with the iPhone, which includes 'synch with Mediamonkey'. I choose that, but still nothing happened. Thanks for reading.

that's it. when attached via usb, the iPhone doesn't show up in the "my computer" panel of MM, where id expect it. Or indeed, anywhere else...

...and i now see that airport has plenty of issues...lots of little snags even starting up, getting the various airports to get recognised seems to go wrong almost every time, but maybe i just need to get more familiar with its...er...little habits...; but then there's the real killer: it won't work...
