missing post
I posted a question on the forum earlier today and came back to see if there had been a response and the post is not there.

Hooray! Yippee! Huzzah!!
I'm the same as you and have spent way too much time re-tagging "updated" files. This script is gonna save my fingers a lot of walking.
Kudus and thanks.

calling MM from an outside program
I can't seem to find the proper way to call MM to play audio files from an outside program. (I have the proper file associations set up to call on a click from folders etc.) I have used the "C:/program files/MediaMonkey/mediamonkey.exe" in various forms and no go. Is there another way that...

magic nodes error
I think the problem is because you are naming one of your Custom fields "Genre" - why are you doing this when there is already a Genre field? Just plain dense from being new to MM. When I eliminated all custom nodes in MM magic nodes started fine, but I received errors when trying to crea...

magic nodes error
Ok, the reason for the error isn't any invalid nodes then. Line 82 is about the custom2 field. Perhaps you have named that field into an already existing name (like Composer). If so try to rename it into something else. Magic Nodes will not work otherwise. /Bex I removed all "custom" name...

Delete Duplicates and reorg all the files.
I agree with roving cowboy and lowlander. You may want to keep songA in two forms; recording studio and a live recording. They will have the same title, same artist, perhaps only a difference in album title.

Hi Jeffer
I'm fairly new to MM but I believe after you make the changes you'll need to go down to files to edit, unsynchronized tags and scan, select the results and then sychronize.

magic nodes error
Open MediaMonkey.ini in a text editor, find the [CustomNodes] section and delete whichever node you just added which is not working. Then when you start MM it should work as normal. There is no section in the MM ini to delete. Since the installation instructions didn't call for creating one, I didn...

Genre node missing
The Genre node is missing in my tree. I have tried using magic node, couldn't get it to work. Downloaded Windows scripting, same results. What do I do to get it back?
