Re: Corrupted Artist Fields in Database (IDSong != song.ID)

Having this issue still too. I completely rebuilt my database and the problem went away for a while until I decided to add some new tracks. I got an error right after adding the songs that the files could not be found and it wanted me to relocate them. I hit cancel and all the songs were there with ...

Re: [MAJOR] - Incorrect Artist/Album Artist Classifications

I am also having this problem. Notice that Bob Dylan albums are listed under "Muse". Also, I have no idea why Run-DMC and Muse are categorized under Folk-Rock.

MediaMonkey cant find my music

I have recently moved from XP to Vista, and then back to XP again with a new terabyte hard drive. I keep my database in the following location, and always have: D:\Music\MM.DB I use the DBName= tag in MediaMonkey.ini to let mediamonkey know where the database is. The main reason for this is because ...

In mediamonkey.ini, you can specify where to look for the database:

under [System], i have

DBName=D:\Music\MM.DB

Have Linux specify one path, and Windows use the regular one. Maybe that will help you.

I consider it a bug, this feature should fit under "confirm desired options on move of library folder".

No Confirmation on move of track from one node to another

Would it be possible to add a confirmation box when moving an album within a node to another artists node? For example, lets say I have something like this: Artist 1 --Album 1 Arist 2 --Album 2 If I drag and drop album 2 into artist 1,it would be nice if there were a prompt. Often I move an album fr...

Jiri, this issue was in MM 2.5, and it does involve the in_wmp3.dll file. It's been an issue through all the versions with auto conversion. If you installed the other mp3 plugins on the site, it works with varying success, but its still very buggy, and the sound quality seems poor. The last time I t...
