Hey Trixmoto, thanks for chiming in. "Add the delete functionality" sounds nice to me... ;-) I don´t know how it works, but if you elaborate, maybe we can find the reason why it happened and hopefully avoid future problems with other users. I have 2 theories of what could´ve happened, feel...

Hey Guest, I just read your post. I have no more time for this right now but I´ll check what you´re saying. In any case, I don´t understand why the Linux will be able to do something that a Windows recovery software cannot do, neither why do I have to take the disk out of my computer when the lost d...

****2nd UPDATE**** GetDataBack seems the more useful program to date. It recovered my tree (too bad it is a shareware version, and it doesn´t allow me to do what I want without a licence. Familiar, huh?). Since I have no more time left to dedicate to this for now, I´m trying to re-create here my ori...

Hey Steegy, thanks, I tried that after my experience with "Recover my files", and... PcInspector took around 25 min. to discover 4 files in my whole HD; but the very best thing is that every mp3 file it recovers it´s ALWAYs named the same way, "CONVARxx" (which is the name´s comp...

Steegy: I´m not sure about what you mean with "if the data has really been deleted": Windows says the disk is empty, it´s marked as free space. And no, the files couldn´t "got moved" since there´s no physical space in my HD to be moved elsewhere; F:\ it´s a partition of my main d...

Hey Gab, I haven´t seen your post. Of course I did check my Recycle Bin, but there´s no trace of any of my files (not even the small folders). Actually, and oddly enough, the only files present in the Bin are the files and folders that the Trixmoto´s script generated (Restore.vbx, Mediamonkey.ini, e...

**UPDATE** I´ve lost much more information than I thought. The F:\MUSIC is not the only folder erased. The F:\BACKUP, that I used for other purposes totally unrelated with MediaMonkey, is also gone (this folder weighted 1 GB or so, with dozens of little applications, documents and a few shorts vids ...

TRIXMOTO´S SCRIPTS TOTALLY ERASED MY LIBRARY. PLEASE READ

Hi there. I´m using MM 2.5.5.997 with Windows XP SP2, and a few minutes ago, I downloaded and installed two Trixmoto´s scripts: BACKUP Script and UNKNOWN LYRICS script. My music was in the F:\MUSIC folder, and I tried to use the F:\ folder for the backup; an error message appeared (something related...

The idea of other "cataloguing software" is something that I didn´t think about: as a matter of fact, I chose MM as the best combination of player AND "catalogue" (or what I understand for "catalogue"), but if you know some other worthy software, it´d be great to know. ...

Keep album´s track without physically store it: possible??

Basically, the thing is that many albums I include in my collection have tracks that I don´t like, and I wouldn´t mind to delete them, but most of the times I keep them, not to spoil the "full-album" thing. It would be great, then, if it would be possible to physically delete the unwanted ...

Hi there, and thanks for the plugin. Maybe I´m doing something wrong, but to make the previewer work I have to go to Tools/Scripts/Previewer, which I thinks it´s a little bit unconfortable, specially provided that this plugin try to do things easier... Is there any way to make it appear on the right...

I wish I could say I only use it "once in a while", cause I´m so used to constantly browse my music, that now it´s a real pain having to find the original position all the time...

I also wish I know how to create one of those "polls"...

Works like a charm

I just wanted to say thank you for this amazing script, I´ve been using it for a couple days and it works perfectly.

Probably the most interesting enhacement for MM I found so far.

Thanks!

"Back to previous view", enhanced

First of all, congratulations to the developers, I´m a new MM user and I´m amazed with it. The only thing I really MISS, as a former WMP 10 user, is the ability to navigate among the different “views” or “nodes” using ALT+LEFT/RIGHT, because WMP does remember the exact position you were in (the curs...
