Re: Access Violation -- over and over and over

Weird...
So far, after installing the Debug version and running it with Debug View open also...I can't get the thing to error out.
Nice problem to have, I guess!

Re: Access Violation -- over and over and over

Got it. Thanks, guys.

I may just see what the increased priority setting does for me first. But if it starts giving this error again anyway, I'll get the debug version and see what I can capture.

Thanks again.

Re: Access Violation -- over and over and over

That last post was intended for Lowlander.

I should mention that in the meantime, I set the priority of MM to "above normal". We'll see how that goes.

Re: Access Violation -- over and over and over

OK, I'm confused. So, DebugView only works with the Debug version of MM? I was reading your last message to mean that if I had installed the Debug version of MM, then I'd have to run DebugView in admin mode. Otherwise (regular version of MM installed), I would not. But it doesn't work, period, with ...

Re: Access Violation -- over and over and over

Rovingcowboy -- No, the Intel Core i7 920 has 4 cores. (Google "Intel i7" -- it's the name of the processor.)

Re: Access Violation -- over and over and over

2.66 Ghz Intel Core i7 920 here, with 6GB RAM. Not much else running. I do have a pretty big library, 30K+ tracks, but that would be the only factor that might be a memory hog. I can't think of anything I'm doing in MM that would be a CPU hog, though. The error pops up a lot when MM is just sitting ...

Re: Access Violation -- over and over and over

System is Win 7 x 64. Very stable in all other respects and in all other apps I use (and I use a lot of apps). I was on MM 4.0.7 which crashed a lot with various errors including this access violation one. Decided to try the latest beta 4.1 build yesterday, crossing my fingers. Nope, no improvement....

Access Violation -- over and over and over

With every iteration of MM, I pray that FINALLY maybe the app won't be so incredibly bug-prone. It's the most full-featured media manager out there, and I love all of its features -- but if it drives me crazy with random crashes all over the place, then all of those features are not worth beans and ...

Re: Batch Find Mono Tracks?

I think I might know why this isn't working for me. If I look at a lot of my mono tracks in Audacity, I see that they actually have two channels. It's just that both channels have exactly the same data. So the result is mono. Hmm....I guess I'm outta luck. I can't see any search that I could do that...

Batch Find Mono Tracks?

I'd like to be able to find all of the tracks in my library that are mono. Is there any way in MM to do that? I just want to tell it, "Give me a list of all of my mono tracks only."
