Re: [REQ] moving between playlists, resuming exactly where I left off

Musicolet has a lot of good qualities. Unfortunately, it has no internal capability to sync to a PC. That's why I would like MediaMonkey to adopt this feature.

Re: [REQ] moving between playlists, resuming exactly where I left off

Since I posted this request in 2019, I have found an Android music player that supports up to 20 queues: Musicolet Music Player by Krosbits. Give it a try if you want to see what it's like to move between queues/playlists and have the player keep track of your position in each. Because I use MediaMo...

[REQ] moving between playlists, resuming exactly where I left off

PROBLEM: During the day, I'm playing a playlist of pop music. Before going to bed, I change playlists to listen to relaxing instrumental music. Next morning, I want to switch back to the pop playlist, resuming exactly where I left off on the day before. Unfortunately, MediaMonkey doesn't keep track ...

Re: Autostart

Esrent - Microsoft provides a Window tool called "Task Scheduler" that you can use to start a program like MediaMonkey. ( https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/desktop/taskschd/using-the-task-scheduler ) The details vary based on the version of Windows that you have. For you, the task t...

I was able to install Bex's script in MM4 and it did remove the unused genres. Thanks!

Re: Remove Unused Genres/Classification 1.2.1 (2008-02-18)

I'm using MediaMonkey 4.0.5.1491 and I can confirm that Optimize database (Quick) and Optimize database (Complete) do not remove unused Genres from some dialog boxes. For example, if I Edit a Collection and go to the Criteria tab and Add Search Criteria and select Genres as the Property, the resulti...

Re: Filter based on Artist track count

Thanks for the assistance. I was not aware of the "# Tracks by Artist" criteria. That's pretty cool!

Multiple artists are a little bit of a problem, but your advice is still a big help.

Filter based on Artist track count

I would like to create a filter based on the number of tracks I have from each artist. I want to do this so that I can organize tracks by artists who have only one or two tracks in my library differently from artists who have more than two tracks in my library. Is it possible to do this?

Thanks,

Re: "Unknown" track ratings shouldn't be < 0 stars

The resolution of issue ID 5793 in version 3.1.1 provides a checklist of star ratings and the option of selecting "unknown" for searches, filters, and advanced autoplaylists. This is great solution to my initial posting. Thanks!

Re: Multiple versions of a song - Sensible Solution

I've read through this thread and I believe you're talking about one song that appears in several albums. I'm interested in another type of support for multiple versions of a song. I would like to be able to group different formats of the same song together so that if I update the tags of the song i...

Re: Feedback, ratings suggestion.

I disagree with replacing the "bomb" with "no rating". "No rating" (or "unknown") means that the track hasn't been rated. The "bomb" means that the song has been rated -- it's been given the lowest rating possible. I'm not defending the use of the &q...
