Well, I read that entire thread. Last successful entry stated "I tested it with iTunes 11.1.3.8 and MM 4.07.1511 - works perfect!
THANK YOU!"
after 4.0.7 people started having issues...
that is my reason for asking....

Re: SIMPLE way to EXPORT MEDIAMONKEY DATABASE to ITUNES
What do you mean by "at least for the export feature". "Should be able..." does not sound overly confident

Re: SIMPLE way to EXPORT MEDIAMONKEY DATABASE to ITUNES
OK, how about this:
How can I get the current MMW-database (4.1.20.1864) into a format that MMW 4.07.1511 can read?

Re: SIMPLE way to EXPORT MEDIAMONKEY DATABASE to ITUNES
Ok, let me rephrase then:
Is there ANY way to do it?
I am thinking along the lines of installing older version of iTunes, when the datebase was still based on XML-format.

SIMPLE way to EXPORT MEDIAMONKEY DATABASE to ITUNES
Hi everyone, is there a simple way to export MM-database and playlists to itunes? The following would be crucial concerning database export: -maintain date added -maintain playcount -maintain rating (if possible) For playlist, I am hoping a simple M3U should work. How can that be done? All I found s...

Re: updating tags not working as expected
Ok, so lets say I use another external app, say MP3diag, and manipulate some tags, would add/rescan in MM cause database values to be updated from any modified tags? Sort of like synchronize tag, but in the direction tag->MM database? If not, what would be an apropriate way to do this without loosin...

Re: updating tags not working as expected
1) not the problem. Files are MP3 and MP4A, embedded cover art supported 2) they are not. When I sometimes come across a file that is read only, MM generates a warning/popup 3) how could I tell if a tag is corrupted? Should there not be some kind of error message? I tried to come to grips with what ...

Re: updating tags not working as expected
Thanx for responding lowlander! Is there a way to force "embed in tag"? I don't recognize any pattern how MM does this. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. On some occasions where save to tag did not work, I deleted the folder JPG, the rewrote the tgas, then it worked. That is however not a s...

updating tags not working as expected
Hi everyone, I ran into the following problem. MM is set to update tags upon edeting and to write artwork into tags if possible, otherwise into folder. I now discovered it really does neither of the two :-( So this is what I'm wondering: 1. How can I discover the cover art source for a specific file...

Re: Export Playlis but with different file path
Thank you Lowlander,
that actually worked quite well!! It's a bot slow, seems like it's doing more than just finding and replacing existing paths, but it works!!!

Export Playlis but with different file path
Hi everyone, I am looking for a way to export all playlists in a batch job but with a slight modification: Is it possible to alter the file path pointing to the mp3 files? Reason for asking is that I play all files in MM from my local HDD whereas the exported playlist should point to files residing ...

Re: Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix 3.8.2 (2014-01-27)
Hi Lowlander, thanx for responding! That sounds promising, I just can not get it to work. It should be straight forward: My folder structure is: lossy\Artist A\Album A\ lossless\Artist A\Album A\ The only metadata I would like to keep from my older lossy mp3s is "Date added" and "playcount". I would...
