Re: Pause Waiting for HD Speed
A solution:
Do not use pause for extended periods. Shut down the program and restart when needed.

Pause Waiting for HD Speed
Step 1. Play music using Media Monkey. Step 2. Pause for an extended period of time. Step 3. Hit Play... At this time, the hard drive is usually shut down. When I hit play, Media Monkey will play what is in the buffer, about 2 seconds worth. Then playback stops while it waits for the hard drive to s...

Re: Path Not Found
Thanks Dypsis!
I have turned off backup on exit.
I have no problems backing up on demand.
I'll take a look at your settings.
Case closed!
Thanks.

Re: Stop Playback after Current with 2 Instances of MM
I just tried the simplest sequence and it did NOT fail. It worked. I will keep an eye on it and try to figure out what sequence causes it to fail. Here's the sequence that worked fine: 1. Open an instance of Media Monkey 2. Open a second instance of Media Monkey 3. From the second instance, Hit Play...

Backup Instructions
Is there an instruction manual? I've searched and this 96 page thread is the closest thing I've found. What is Output Archive? Why does it have a browse feature? Why doesn't it go to the Output Path? Why can't I dot it? What is the purpose of "Second archive?" Why multiple paths? With answers to tho...

Equalizer Window Display Suggestion
The equalizer should display the name of the .sde file currently in use. And if a modification has been made and not stored, then it should say “modified” or some how warn that this configuration has not been saved. Re: Song Ratings Lost on System Restore
The song ratings showed up today. It was after I did a scan of my song folders. I think the problems was that previously, I scanned and then ran the script to correct the song locations. This time, the correction had already been run.
In any case, 3,000 song ratings are back!
Thanks!

Song Ratings Lost on System Restore
I just had to rebuild my Windows 10 system and reload all files from backup. The song star ratings for the most part have not been recovered. How can I recover the song ratings?
(I have used the "Update locations of files in database" script to compensate for the new location of the songs.)
Thanks.

Re: Skins not Saved
Thanks. I uninstalled MM. And then reinstalled it allowing full overriding of Windows themes.
No difference. Regardless of the theme I choose, the player looks the same.

Skins not Saved
The first time I install a new skin from the .mmip file, things look good. I get a message: "G-Monkey Skin for MM4 was successfully." (full quote as displayed) All looks good. With the next launch, it reverts back to the prior layout. Selecting any listed skin from Tools > Options > Skins, makes no ...

Re: Last 50 Played playlist
For unrelated reasons, I had to do a Windows system restore. The problem with the last 50 played was solved by the restore.
Thanks!
