Re: I give up

If you're using a car to read files it's hit & miss. This often is poorly implemented and you need to do a lot of digging into what is actually supported. Sometimes it is necessary to use a utility program to force the files to be written in the proper order on a USB drive or SD card. Once the ...

Re: "Save image to file folder" image location option is fla

I have the same issue. I don't want MM to write any artwork tag information but any tag change adds a 'phantom image' to the artwork tag. This is preventing Logitech MediaServer from displaying artwork for the album, even if only one track in the folder has this tag. This is a fairly recent problem,...

[1448] Playback rules - unexpected behavior [#8574]

On the Playback Rules window in Options I have the 'Play Now' action set to "Play selected files only'" for all file types (Music, Podcast, Audiobook, etc.). When I select and play a video from within Media Monkey, the video plays and the title is added to the now playing list as expected....

Also Not Exactl A Bug... But ! [#11143]

This one has been bugging me from when I first started using MM. In the Year node, each decade is listed in the following fashion: "1990's", "2000's", "2010's". There should NOT be an apostrophe in the label - it's "2010s". It is plural usage and there is no p...

I concur, the bug still exists with 3.1.0.1236 despite the fact that Mantis shows that the bug is resolved.

Re: Closing mediamonkey 3.1 in XP doesn't end prog

I'm also experiencing the same issue, renaming d_iPhone.dll resolves it. MM would crash at shutdown, which also removed the contents of the 'now playing' node.

Re: Swicthing views in Now Playing sorts list

Tested this with 1224 and I still see that going to the Now Playing node while Album Art with Details or Album Art view is enabled sort the tracks already in the Now Playing. Undoing the sort is also impossible while the Now Playing node is selected (in other nodes it's possible to undo the sort vi...

Re: Losing current track album art on start in 3.1.0.1225

I notice the same problem. I'm using 3.1.0.1227 but it was present in previous versions. The album art for the last played track does not display when starting MM. All tracks are FLAC, stored in folders by album, with the album art in a folder.jpg file in the same folder. I do not have art embedded ...

Re: Export All Playlists missing in action-BUG#5185

I would suggest removing the entries from the scripts.ini file and then reinstall to see if they are being installed correctly. As per your suggestion, I did this prior to installing build 1216 and it fixed the issue; the script was installed and functions correctly. Thanks! I run this script whene...

Re: Export All Playlists missing in action-BUG#5185

This bug is reported as being fixed in Build 1214 but it still does not work for me in either build 1214 or 1215. "Export Subscribed Podcasts ..." shows up twice in the Tools>Scripts menu.

Not sure how I missed this thread

In addition to the Encoder field being copied into the tags mentioned above, the Comment tag (if present) is copied into ISRC, Publisher and Copyright.

1202 Add/Rescan Folders irregularity

I did a full add/rescan on a set of FLAC files with some unpleasant results. Library settings: Infer track properties (checked) from: Filenames, use: Tags then inferred properties scan track directories for album art (checked) remove unused attributes (checked) all other settings unchecked. MM took ...

Scale using for Rating

MM uses a scale of 0 to 100 in increments of 20 for FLAC files, which is written into the tags. Other programs may use a different scale which can mess up the rating when doing transcoding. I wish MM would allow the user to be able to specify the range and increment used for ratings.

Re: Extremely slow with large number of files...

MM is very slow to load, scans files each time, regularly locks up. Is my library too large? 28,000 tracks isn't large relative to some users here. It could be that your install is corrupted in some way as the symptoms you describe are not normal, other than possibly the start-up scan, which you ha...
