Re: Date writes to two frames??
@MiPi - Thanks for the clarification, I didn't realise that changes i added at the end of the INI would be written to a different part. My duplicate date problem is solved now.

Re: Download link to new beta is failing
I have had the same/similar issue. I cannot download directly from the link in the MM Forum, however if i copy the link it automatically pastes into my JDownloader app & i can dowload it from there ok.

Date writes to two frames??
Date appears to write to TDAT & TYER. This causes the date to be duplicated in other apps, eg Foobar
I believe this was an issue in MM4 & the solution was to add the following lines to the .INI -
[MP3Tagging]
DisableFrames=TYER;TDRC
EnableFrames=TDAT
Is their a solution for MM5?

Re: Grid View - Sorting
Thanks Barry - i've just read up on "breadcrumbs" So it's much clearer to me now. I don't have an issue with the placement of the funnel. Just the hamburger options. I take your point about the clutter on the left side context menu but i would still prefer all the actions to be included in the conte...

Re: Grid View - Sorting
Sorry Lowlander I have no idea what you mean. Where are the "breadcrumbs" you refer to?

Re: Grid View - Sorting
Some more thoughts. 1. There are no sort options at the Node level, eg Composer. It would be helpful to at least have Ascending or Descending order. 2. At the next level down (when you select a Composer) the sort by option is on the far right of the screen. This disassociates it from the subject of ...

Re: Grid View - Sorting
I concur with Barry's arguments. Lowlander says You also run into the problem that the values aren't displayed in this view, so you can't actually (see) how sort is applied (other than in the column sort indicator). At the Collection level you already have this situation, ie there is sort options of...

Grid View - Sorting [#16976]
Sorting in Grid view is very limited. Only seems to be 2 choices Name or Release date. There is no sorting option in the context menu. I would like to be able to sort on any field. Could this be considered please. Also the naming of the current two options could be improved. ie - 1. Name is vague, i...

View filter (Funnel Icon) - Question & Request [#16517]
Q: Recently used filters (Hamburger menu). Is there a limit to the items in this list & is there a way to clear the list? Request: Ability to save filters & rename & sort. This would provide an exellent utility to quickly group & sort music without the need to access sub nodes; compose queries or es...

Re: 2234 - the UI has no Stop Media Playing control
Thanks for raising this Barry. I'd been wondering why there was no stop button on the player. Now I know why. I agree the default should be on.

Re: Artists and Years view [#16419, #16420]
I find the terminology confusing. MM has a sort by 'release date' option but the Properties editor only provides for Date & Original date. Surpringly if i select The 'Release Date' option it re-sorts the album grid even though i don't tag anything with a 'Release Date".?? Logically i would expect a ...

Thanks Ludek, I didn't realize that the image & the text were seperate selections. I understand how it works now.
