In addition to the above i also question the need to change the view to open the album(s) when you are in the Artist, Composer, Conductor sub node. After all, the album(s) has already been selected in the Browser filter, Why then not have it opened automatically in the List (by Album) view?

BTW I don't really understand what you mean by "thousands of nodes etc" I dont have any collections at the moment So i only have one main node for the library & sub nodes for artists, albums, composers etc.
My library is fairly big 500k+ Is taht part of the issue?
